Our extensive experience in animation on every scale—from hand-drawn spots to computer-animated features—allows us to work with clients of all sizes to achieve the best big-picture solution while remaining focused on even the most intricate of details. No matter what the project, we love to let storytelling, problem-solving, and craft infuse our work from inception to completion.
Brian is the guiding force for all phases of a project at Moving Colour, from conception, through production and on to delivery. He got his start in feature animation, where he spent a lot of time with singing chipmunks and dancing penguins. While working in character animation, he became involved with more short-term projects where he developed a love for design and intimate team collaboration.
Brian can often be found riding a board; be it a surfboard, skateboard, or ski(board?)—depending on the season. He also spends much of his time wrestling and struggling under a mound of pillows by the hand of his 3-year-old son. He loves filling the studio with electronic dance beats, learning to pronounce types of scotch with a proper Scottish accent, and drinking afternoon lattes.
art director/ designer
Molly is the Swiss Army knife of Moving Colour, most often seen wielding her art director / designer skills. Before venturing into graphic design and film, Molly was on her way to becoming a mechanical engineer. While she left the calculus behind, she has carried her conceptual and problem-solving skills into her creative work.
She is a born-and-raised Alabamian, but your only clue will probably be her use of the word "y'all" (unless you overhear her on the phone with her mom, which is usually when the accent sneaks out). Molly spends her free time wearing crazy leggings at dance class, getting overly invested in numerous bunny Instagram accounts, and eating ice cream.
